About Us

The Trattoria di Montaluce evokes inspiration from authentic Italian cuisine. Our house-made pastas, cheeses, brick-oven pizzas, and other hand-crafted ingredients exemplify our farm-to-table culinary approach. 

The open-concept dining room is designed around the kitchen's brick ovens, giving guests a cozy and relaxing dining experience. 

MEET OUR TEAM

Chris is the Executive Chef at Montaluce. He and his team are excited to offer a menu made with classic techniques and fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.

According to Chef Chris, his grandmother made him fall in love with food when he was only fourteen, and he hasn't stopped cooking since then. His passion for food has taken him all around the world, pushed him to earn two degrees, (pastry and culinary), at NYC’s International Culinary Center, and helped him make a life for himself as a first-generation American.

He hopes that his years of experience and passion for food come together at Montaluce in the form of an incredible meal you get to share with people you love.

I have been growing grapes and making wine commercially for over three decades. With a Master’s Degree in Enology and Viticulture from the University of California, Davis, I have spent most of my career working at wineries in both Northern and Southern California, but have also worked at wineries in New York, South Dakota, Arizona and, now, Georgia. If you can name a variety of grape or fruit, I have probably made wine from it.

Accomplished, energetic and reliable professional Manager with more than 10 years of experience with a solid history of achievement in Restaurant Management, Business administration, Food Service and Customer Relations. 
Motivated leader with strong organizational and prioritization abilities. Areas of expertise include restaurant management, long range planning and keen appreciation for the bottom line profit. Highly trained, proactive, organized and dedicated with passionate commitment to first-rate customer service care.

Haley Gilreath

{Director of Marketing & Public Relations}

Haley is a journalist-turned-marketer, who is  passionate about finding new ways to relate on a personal level with consumers. She possesses more than twelve years of experience in marketing, where she has honed myriad of skills in writing, special events, public relations, content marketing, social media, blogging, SEO, videography, photography, analytics, email marketing, advertising, and magazine publishing. Haley is a published author and has been featured in several publications throughout the US. Her determination  and ambition have been an asset for Montaluce's Marketing Team. 

Matthew Garner

{Director of Operations}

Matthew has a strong background in landscape design and installation. In 2006, he got the call to join the team at Montaluce, and he has helped in every aspect of building, maintaining, and managing this project. Matthew oversees all operations and business aspects of the entire Montaluce enterprise.
